Here's the real story......
After leaving Infinity, Bob Carlson began a successful modeling career, posing for Calvin Klein as well as Gap ads. Unfortunately, this all came to a bitter end when McDonalds released the "McRib" and Bob ballooned to 527 pounds within a 2 month period A photo from Bob's portfolio during this dark period is below:
Bob joined River Mud as a way to bring back his self esteem, but this almost ended in disaster as well, after he ate guitarists Dave Vignola and then Gene Husak. After a "shape up or ship out" ultimatum from the band, Bob lost all of the weight and gained back his modeling physique.
You'll notice during the next show that surviving guitarist Chris keeps his distance on stage. "I just don't like the way he looks at me" says Chris.
